Baby oil can be used when tanning to help encourage a healthy tan and to protect the skin. Baby oil can be used for cleaning up silver and stainless steel. Wiping off stainless steel appliances and silver faucets and sinks with baby oil will leave them shiny and looking brand new. Baby oil also can brighten up dull metal picture frames. Baby oil can be used on eyelashes to prevent brittleness and/or breaking. Some people have found success using mineral oil to remove henna used as a hair dye. But the most common uses of baby oil are as a skin emollient and a massage oil.
